Evening dinners can be served privately in the Bistro, the main open dining area, or under the stars at the Boma, with the fire dancing in front of you. Chalets

Our focus is to guarantee you a personal experience, we achieve this by purposely developing two high-end luxury and spacious Chalets and guarantee your privacy as the only guests will be you and your guest(s). Included in your stay: all organic toiletries, linen, bedding, refreshments, hairdryer, air conditioning, bath robes, slippers, and plenty of storage for your luggage and personal items. A private safe, seating area, private desk and private veranda with hammock and additional seating is part of your Chalet privacy. If your booking is for just you, just two of you, or four of you, there will be no intrusion of other bookings during your stay (guaranteed), making this a very special and Covid-19 safe environment.

Your dining experience will be: open-air dining area, casual comfy seating and the Bistro lounge bar situated in front of the bar pool.

Chalets are serviced twice a day with our personal housekeepers, dedicated to making your stay as clean, safe, and comfortable as possible.

Location

Nestled beneath the majestic Klein Drakensberg Mountains, and situated between the Kruger National Park and the stunning Blyde River Canyon.

Just a five and a half hour drive from Johannesburg, 30 minutes from the Kruger National Park, in the heart of the Lowveld. Nestled beneath the majestic Klein Drakensberg Mountains, and less than one hour away from the stunning Blyde River Canyon, situated off the R40; this area is an absolute paradise and a much sought after tourist destination.

The 12,000 hectares Blue Canyon Private Game Reserve borders the Hoedspruit town and is home to the Big 5. On the town’s doorstep is the Timbavati and Klaserie and just 45 mins away is the Orpen gate entrance to the Kruger National Park.

Private transfers are included in your booking from Eastgate Airport, Hoedspruit. We also provide an additional but separate service (on your own account) for private domestic Charter private plane, from OR Tambo International, to Hoedspruit Civil Airfield and private transfer to Nyumbani Estate from there. Alternatively, again, an additional but separate service (on your own account), a private driver with vehicle to transfer you by road. (see the Rates page for costs)
